Foreign Direct investment Promotion Project (FDIPP) is a Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) funded project which aims to promote FDI in Bangladesh through (i) provision of satisfactory finance to Japanese invested enterprises in all sectors and the Bangladeshi enterprises supporting their operations, and (ii) provision of technical assistance to banks and financial institutions, thereby contributing to sound growth of the industry and the economy of Bangladesh as well as the employment generation and poverty reduction on a sustainable basis, and the development of competitive financial market satisfactory to foreign investors.

• Package 1: Land Development (200 ha Land, Access Road, Retention Canal / Pond and Pumping Station)
• Package 2: Power Plant Development
• Package 3-5: Gas Pipeline and Telecommunication Development/Relocation of Existing Gas Pipeline
