Nippon Koei Bangladesh Ltd. hereby informs that an incident involving unauthorized access to a business-use personal computer of one of our employees occurred recently.

As a result of this unauthorized access, spam emails were sent from the affected email account. In addition, there is a possibility that a limited number of emails stored on the same account may have been viewed by an unauthorized third party.

Immediately after identifying the incident, we took emergency measures, including isolating the affected device, suspending the relevant account, changing passwords, and strengthening security controls. We are also conducting a detailed internal investigation to confirm the scope of impact and to ensure that no further unauthorized access occurs.

At this stage, there is no evidence indicating that any information accessed has been misused or disclosed to third parties. However, we take this incident very seriously and are continuing our investigation with the support of external IT security specialists.
