This Job Fair was the very first event held by METI, for job matching for Japanese companies and Bangladeshi students and experts. The event was held for a whole day. Starting with a gorgeous Ceremony, where the Japanese ambassador Mr. Iwama and university executives attended, broadcasted afterwards. There were over 150 applicants and 13 companies, all joined the ceremony. After the ceremony was the interview. The interview style was free and each company could decide on the style, individual interview or group interview. For NKBs interview, we called for BPD, CMD and ETD candidates, and over 400 applications were received and 50 were shortlisted to have the interview on the event day. There were young candidates and some very experienced people.
