Description
Program for Supporting Rural Bridges (SupRB) of Rajshahi, Rangpur & Khulna Divisions [Package: SD-16, SD-20, SD-23, SD-24 & SD-28]. The project was funded by the International Development Association (IDA) and Govt. of Bangladesh. The Implementing Agency was Local Government Engineering Department (LGED).
Main Project Features
• Maintenance of 85,000 meters of bridges
• Rehabilitation of 24,000 meters of bridges
• Capacity Expansion (widening) of 5,000 meters of rural bridges
• Replacement or newly construction of 20,000 meters of bridges
• Design and implementation of climate resilient bridges
• Establishment and operationalize of Grievance Redress System (GRS)
